“Now, who is acting like a sixteen year old virgin girl from a convent?” Kyuhyun asked sarcastically as he sat on the floor leaning up against the bathroom door.

“I wish I was in a convent…far away from you,” Ryeowook yelled through the door, causing Kyuhyun to roll his eyes.

“Then why don’t you go join one,” Kyuhyun said. His mood had gone down hill since Ryeowook had locked himself away from him.

“I should, because at least then I would be free of you!”

“What a sweet little nun you would make,” Kyuhyun said, laughing at the mental image.

“Hate you! Hate you! Hate you!”

“I’d believe you, if I didn’t know for certain you were madly in love with me. So keep on bitching, because - ” Kyuhyun stopped suddenly as he heard Ryeowook’s phone going off…Ryeowook’s phone that was still in his bag and not with him.

“I’m mad. I give you that. But you are a sick bastard,” Ryeowook growled through the door.

“Sick? Really? I’m sick? I am being the realistic person in this relationship. If you think we are only going to be kissing for the next eighty years, then you are delusional. It’s only natural that we take the next step,” Kyuhyun told him as he got up walked over to Ryeowook’s bag and flipped the phone on silent. Kyuhyun didn’t answer the phone when he saw it was Eunhyuk calling.

“Eighty…eighty years?” Ryeowook squeaked from the other side of the door.

“Yes, I plan on us having a long life together. I am pretty sure once I hit a hundred, I won’t be wanting anything other than kisses from you,” Kyuhyun told Ryeowook as he frowned when he couldn’t unlock the phone.

Ryeowook could be heard laughing hysterically through the door. “Anybody living with you would be certifiablely insane after ten years, so you can kiss your own wrinkled ass when you are a hundred!”

Kyuhyun looked up from the phone and frowned at the door. “Well, you are almost there already, and we still love each other, so I don’t see that being a problem.”

“Oh, well at least my insanity explains how I ever let it get to this point. I am insane. I totally agree.”

“No, you’re timid, insecure, and cowardly, which explains why you are hiding in the bathroom, instead of in the bed with me,” Kyuhyun told him with a mischievous smile.

“Shut up.”

“I still remember when you used to be fearless.”

“Shut up.”

“It’s okay. I plan on waiting for you.” Kyuhyun told him as he frowned at the phone he couldn’t get unlocked. “What is your password?”

“My password for what? Do you have my phone?” Ryeowook asked through the door.

“The password isn’t my name, and it isn’t my birthday…what was the day we first kissed?”

“Slide my phone under the door now. So help me, Kyuhyun, if you lock me out of my phone!”

“Aw, so it is that day. You would think I would remember that day, considering how badly it traumatized me,” Kyuhyun said as he went to get his phone, so he could look at the calendar on it.

“Oh, so it’s my fault that you are suddenly some gay stalker,” Ryeowook bitterly threw back at him.

“Gay stalker?” Kyuhyun asked amused as he looked at his phone finding the date in question. He then tried to unlock Ryeowook’s phone again. “Not that day either…what day did we first meet?”

“I have no idea. I will tell you this, though: my password has absolutely nothing to do with you.”

“Yeah, right,” Kyuhyun said, chuckling, as if the thought was ludicrous to him.

“You are about to lock it up, and I am going to be stuck without a phone. Give me my phone!” Ryeowook yelled at him, frustrated.

The frustration in Ryeowook’s voice made Kyuhyun pause and look at the door. “How did you pick your password, then?”

“I opened up a big book and used a random page number as my password…because there’s this sneaky little bastard who is always getting into my stuff.”

“Such words. Your stuff, my stuff it’s all the same,” Kyuhyun said, smiling now as he went back to Ryeowook’s bag and started searching for the password.

“I didn’t write my password down and stick it in my bag either,” Ryeowook said knowingly from inside the bathroom.

Kyuhyun frowned as he searched through Ryeowook bag and found nothing. “I am not giving you your phone!” Kyuhyun told him spitefully.

“Okay, fine!”

Kyuhyun had a huge frown on his face. “Eunhyuk has called you like a million times. He must be losing his mind right now, trying his best not to imagine what we are doing.”

“That must make you happy, because you enjoy torturing people that love you.”

“Yes, it does!” Kyuhyun said hatefully as he went back to the bathroom door and slid down it till he was sitting again.

“Well, at least you admit to being a rotten troll.”

“I told you that the next move is yours. There isn’t any reason for you to hide in the bathroom,” Kyuhyun told Ryeowook, sulking.

“Oh, is that why you brought enough condoms and lube to supply everybody in this hotel?”

“I was just being prepared, in case you changed your mind. I knew you wouldn’t be prepared. I’m being a responsible adult,” Kyuhyun said, crossing his arms across his chest.

“I’m not changing my mind.”

“Forgive me if I don’t believe you. I can’t understand why I wouldn’t believe you. Oh wait; yes, I can. I can think of two different occurrences which would make me doubt your word.”

“Then don’t believe me; it doesn’t matter.”

Kyuhyun listened as he heard Ryeowook moving around in the bathroom now. “What are you doing?”

“What does one do in a bathroom?” Ryeowook sarcastically asked him.

“Thanks, now I need to go,” Kyuhyun told him as he banged his head against the door.

“Well, you better go ask Sungmin if you can borrow his.”

“You are seriously not going to let me use the bathroom?” Kyuhyun said, rolling his eyes as he heard Ryeowook washing his hands.

“Not this bathroom,” Ryeowook said. “Oh, I need a big glass of cold water.”

“Hey, I’m thirsty, too,” Kyuhyun whined through the door.

“Then I guess you better call room service. I hope nobody is anti…and spits in your drink!”

“That isn’t even funny!” Kyuhyun said, scrunching his nose at the thought. “You’re twisted today, because you know how hard it is for me to eat food when I don’t know who cooked it or how - ” A knocking at the door interrupted Kyuhyun from continuing his tirade against eating out. He got up quickly, curious to see who was at the door.

Kyuhyun opened the door to find Sungmin, who was all decked out in his finest clothing. “Can I help you?”

“No, but Ryeowook can,” Sungmin said, pushing past Kyuhyun into the hotel room.

“Well, unfortunately, he’s been in the bathroom for the last hour,” Kyuhyun said, shutting the door behind Sungmin.

“An hour?” Sungmin asked, looking a little apprehensive.

“Constant diarrhea,” Kyuhyun explained in a very quiet voice.

“Gross,” Sungmin said, heading toward to the bathroom door and knocking on it. “Ryeowook, do you need me to go get you some medicine?”

“For what?” Ryeowook asked, opening the bathroom door with a glass of water in his hand.

“Your diarrhea. Well, at least that explained why you wouldn’t answer the phone. Eunhyuk says he has called you like ten times. He has to ask you something…and he is starting to annoy me,” Sungmin told him as he studied the man who didn’t look sick.

“My diarrhea?” Ryeowook said, glaring at Kyuhyun. “It’s nothing - just a side effect of having to room with Kyuhyun.”

“Oh, I completely understand, but you better call Eunhyuk before he strokes. He’s cooking something…and I’m not good enough to answer his question.”

“Eunhyuk is cooking? Seriously, is that the best he could come up with? So lame,” Kyuhyun said in disbelief, rolling his eyes at what he considered to be Eunhyuk’s poor excuse.

“Actually, the other members are taking an interest in cooking. Just this morning, I was helping Shindong prepare something for a lunch date,” Ryeowook said, grabbing his phone away from Kyuhyun.

“Well, I think the woman folk should do the cooking,” Kyuhyun said with a smirk, smiling at Ryeowook.

Ryeowook’s mouth dropped open, and he just glared; unfortunately for Kyuhyun, Sungmin had another response. “Oh my God! Stop with the violence!” Kyuhyun cried as Sungmin grabbed his butt and pinched as hard as he could.

“You stop being a chauvinist dog,” Sungmin told him as the other man jumped away from him as fast as he could. “We should let you starve.”

“I was just kidding. My dad cooks!” Kyuhyun said, walking to the opposite side of the room, grimacing and holding his butt.

“You’re like my most favorite person ever,” Ryeowook told Sungmin with a smile. “Why so dressed up?”

“Some beautiful lady that I go to school with might be meeting me for a secret rendezvous,” Sungmin said smiling with happiness.

“Hyo Sonn??? I thought she wasn’t interested,” Ryeowook asked, suddenly curious.

“She wasn’t, but lucky for me, things change. I plan on having a very…very good night,” Sungmin said with a sly grin.

“Now who is the dog?” Kyuhyun said bitterly from the other side of the room.

“Lucky dog!” Ryeowook said, giving Sungmin a high five with the hand that wasn’t holding the glass of water. “What do you need for us to do to cover for you?”

“Nothing. The manager is on his second bottle of wine. I might have recommended some particularly addictive vintages,” Sungmin said with a cunning glint in his eye.

“People call me sneaky,” Kyuhyun said, walking back up to them cautiously.

“Rooming with you does have its vantage points,” Sungmin said, smiling, very happy with himself.

“Please don’t pick up any more of his habits, or I will have to shoot myself,” Ryeowook told him with a face full of worry.

“I promise not to.”

“You two are so funny,” Kyuhyun said, sarcastically walking up next to Ryeowook eyeing his water. “I want a drink.”

“Get your own,” Ryeowook told him, which only caused Kyuhyun to take it from him and guzzle it all down in one swallow.

“Well, I will be off,” Sungmin said, turning toward the door. “Don’t forget to call Eunhyuk.”

“I won’t,” Ryeowook said as he walked the other man to the door. “Be careful.”

“Hey, just in case, give me a call around six and make sure I’m awake and that I have time to get…any company I might have out of the room,” Sungmin said with a wink, and then turned, walking out the door.

“I will,” Ryeowook told him. Ryeowook stayed at the doorway, watching the other man walk off.

“Well, it looks like it’s just you and me now,” Kyuhyun said, pulling Ryeowook away from the door and locking it. “However will we pass the time?”

“Kyuhyun, I swear if you even start up again, I will go back in the bathroom, and I won’t come out,” Ryeowook told the other man, pulling away from his grasp.

“Don’t be such a prude. This is the perfect opportunity! The members are all away. The manager is drunk…it’s like the stars have all aligned so we can have sex...I mean, make love,” Kyuhyun said with a huge grin as he dimmed the lights.

“What happened to the next move being mine? Do you have any pride?” Ryeowook said, walking up to a lamp beside the bed and turning it on.

“Very little at this point, but I am going to stick to what I said. Even if it kills me, and it seriously might at this point,” Kyuhyun said, sitting down on the bed.

Ryeowook just shook his head at Kyuhyun, then pulled out his phone and called Eunhyuk, who answered immediately. “…We didn’t!” Ryeowook told him quickly. “Everything is fine…I just locked myself up in the bathroom to get away from the horn dog.”

“I’m deeply insulted,” Kyuhyun shouted from the bed for Eunhyuk’s benefit.

“No…Everything is fine…Yes, it’s done,” Ryeowook said, walking back into the bathroom. Kyuhyun jumped up off the bed and hurried to make it to the bathroom before Ryeowook could shut the door on him again. “Do you mind?” Ryeowook asked as the other man barged into the bathroom with him.

“Yes, I do mind. You are not locking yourself in here again without me,” Kyuhyun told him as he walked to the toilet. “I actually have to use the bathroom,” Kyuhyun explained, unzipping his pants.

“Kyuhyun!” Ryeowook shouted at him as he stormed out of the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind him.

“Why so shy? We are both guys. Can’t purely platonic friends pee in front of each other? It isn’t like you haven’t seen it before,” Kyuhyun yelled through the door.

“He is so obnoxious. You cannot even imagine,” Ryeowook told Eunhyuk on the phone. “No, not yet…I don’t think it has been long enough. I can’t help but kinda feel bad…No…I know but I am still worried…I know the doctor prescribed - ”

The door to the bathroom opened, and Kyuhyun walked out. “Are you still on the phone with your partner in evil?”

“You are the only evil one I know,” Ryeowook told Kyuhyun as the other man sat back down on the bed frowning. “I will talk to you tomorrow…Thanks,” Ryeowook said to Eunhyuk and then hung up the phone.

Kyuhyun yawned and then told Ryeowook in a voice full of resentment, “I suppose you are going to go hide in the bathroom now.”

“Nope, I am going to change, and then I am going to watch television - there is a drama on that I want to watch,” Ryeowook said as he went through his bag, finding his night clothes.

“If you want to shower, I’ll join you. Water conservation is a project very dear to my heart,” Kyuhyun said, licking his lips.

“No, thanks. I’d rather stink,” Ryeowook just shook his head and told the other man calmly, not even blushing.

“Aren’t you scared of me?” Kyuhyun asked curiously after Ryeowook’s lack of reaction.

“Terribly, but I am going to hold you to your word,” Ryeowook joked as he headed for the bathroom to change.

“Good, it won’t be me starting anything,” Kyuhyun informed him as he also got up to change into his pajamas.

“Then we won’t have to worry any about your emergency supply,” Ryeowook couldn’t help but tease as he changed clothes from inside the bathroom.

“Don’t sound so happy about it,” Kyuhyun said, crawling back into bed.

“I can’t help but be thrilled,” Ryeowook said, walking out of the bathroom to find Kyuhyun in bed. “Are you sleepy?”

“No!” Kyuhyun denied, sitting up immediately in bed.

“You look sleepy,” Ryeowook told him watching him closely. Ryeowook took a seat in the chair beside the bed and flipped on the television.

“Well, I’m not,” Kyuhyun told him, wiping his eyes. “Sleeping is such a waste of time, just like watching that stupid drama. You make me so mad.”

“I’d rather watch this drama then do something we can’t ever take back. Remember our goal is to return to our easy, comfortable friendship,” Ryeowook told him, settling back into his chair preparing to watch the television.

“That was never my goal. Once you accept the fact that we are more than friends, everything uncomfortable will be gone. It will be like before, but with better benefits. It will be hundred, million times better,” Kyuhyun said, trying to enlighten the other man as he fought to keep his eyes open.

“It’s nice to know you thought so little of our friendship,” Ryeowook said as he turned to face Kyuhyun who was lying down again.

“I didn’t, I mean I don’t…I loved it. I just know we could have everything,” Kyuhyun said as he grabbed the blanket and pulled it up to his shoulders.

“And I know we would lose everything,” Ryeowook told him as he got out of the chair and walked over to the side of the bed.

“You are just…scared,” Kyuhyun accused, letting out a huge yawn.

“I am, and nothing you say or do is going to change that,” Ryeowook said, watching Kyuhyun with concern in his eyes.

“You are wrong,” Kyuhyun said, fighting to keep his eyes open. Ryeowook climbed onto the bed and sat down bedside Kyuhyun as he leaned against the headboard.

“No, but I am sorry,” Ryeowook told him as he picked up the tired man’s hand and held it.

“You said I would never be happy in that little town. That without the fame…and stuff, I would never be happy…I would never be happy in that little town, but you were wrong. If you were there with me…in that little town, I would be happy. I’m always happy with you…even when you are a big, stupid...” Kyuhyun said with a drowsy, slurred voice, as he repositioned himself ‘til his head was resting in Ryeowook’s lap.

“I want to believe you so badly. I do. I just know you. You know I’m your biggest fan; everything you do, just…you amaze me. Even when you are rotten, you’re just too much. You are too much for a little town to ever hold. You need so much more,” Ryeowook told him sadly as he gently rubbed his back.

“I just need you,” Kyuhyun whispered, fighting the sleepiness that tried to pull him under into dreamland.

“Just sleep, Kyuhyun. Just sleep, don’t fight it,” Ryeowook whispered with tears running down his face. “Just sleep.”
